 COLUMBUS, OHIO -- Dublin Cleaners, now
operated by three generations of the Butler family, is Columbus’s
largest home pick-up & delivery service because we’ve been
providing the finest garment and fabric care since 1934. In fact there are more
than ten families with multi-generational tenure with our staff
because we attract and retain the finest experts in customer service,
cleaning, finishing and packaging.
It truly becomes a family affair
as technicians, finishers, and service people embrace the expertise
of their careers and bestow their experience and skill upon their
next generation. Throughout our 74 years and three generations there
have been many fantastic developments within our business, but the
simple mission has always been to handle our clients clothing and
image as if it were our own.
From the recovery of the
Great Depression to now our simple focus on quality has lead us to
strength through many market conditions and economic changes.
Through many styles and eras, quality of product and service never
goes out of style.
Now in the new millennium
we are recognized nationally for embracing and even leading the
recent technological surge in the garment care industry. As the
SmallBiz® feature for Business Week Magazine in November, 2004
the magazine compliments Dublin Cleaners by stating “the
change is heralding a new era for the stodgy dry-cleaning industry.”
We’ve hosted nearly 100 operators from North America and Europe to
our facility to learn more about the technology we use for quality,
accuracy, service, consistency.
The latest evolution has
been an extreme focus on our responsibility for the environment in
which we live and work. Our local NBC, CBS, and many print media
sources have focused stories on how impressive our effort and
investment has been in the environmental concerns of our process. We
have been considered “leading the charge in a greener clean”
according to NBC4 and proud to have invested nearly $200,000 in
equipment and processes to do so. After all we work in our home
community.
Dublin Cleaners has been
a long time member of the International Fabricare Institute as a part
of our membership in the Ohio Cleaners Association for which Brian
Butler is the former Treasurer. We are members of Methods for
Management’s Central Bureau, and have been approached as a founding
member of the Innovators board therein. We have most recently
been honored with an invitation to join Leading Cleaners
Internationale and the opportunity to become certified as a five star
certified couture cleaner.
When you come in to
visit, you will be greeted by a friendly face that may or may not be
a grandchild of the founder but you will be treated like a neighbor.
Our clientele’s lives are greatly dependent on their image, and we
are thrilled to be trusted with caring for their most treasured and
important garments and fabric goods.
