Meurice Garment CareImageLONG ISLAND, NEW YORK -- Meurice Garment Care was founded in lower Manhattan during the days when women's silk stockings were brought to their local drycleaners for stitching.  Founder, Larry Edelman, recalls regular visits by Eleanor Roosevelt.

In its sixth decade of business, hand finishing is still the hallmark of Meurice Garment Care. Old World craftsmanship coupled with modern technology best describes the many cleaning processes at Meurice Garment Care.

From cotton chinos to priceless gowns, each item is handled individually. Every care label, zipper, button and seam (in short, top to bottom examination) is carefully checked. With up to ten different individuals involved in servicing each and every garment, quality and a commitment to excellence is our focus.

Wayne Edelman, Meurice's current owner, can frequently be seen on Martha Stewart's TV program demonstrating his expertise in stain removal and fashion care.
